One month anniversary...
A month of using Ghost as my new writing platform.

So I began publishing articles a full month ago now on this new site.
I had originally considered importing my old WordPress blog from nerdrooted.com, but made the decision not to, as I wanted a clean break from being bogged down by WoW as a blog topic.
Still glad I made that decision, because of the 10 articles prior to this one, only 20% of them have been directly about World of Warcraft.
And it's been a freeing decision, because it's meant I'm able to write about anything I want. And so over the past month and the 10 posts I've made, I've written about:
- Linux
- Technology
- The Fediverse
- Neurodiversity
- General Gaming
- And yes, of course, WoW
You can see a list of the categories of course at the top of the site (on desktop) or in the hamburger menu (on mobile).
For me, the backend/author experience has been... pretty decent to be fair. I've liked being able to write posts either at home on the PC, or on the phone whenever I've got downtime. Something I didn't have with Publii and that I missed from my days using WordPress.
I'm also quite happy with how the site looks too. Yes it's using one of the free default Ghost themes (Source), but frankly it's probably the best theme available at the moment for my style of site and writing.
The only thing it lacks are drop-down menus for the navigation, and a bit more customisation for the front end, but the available code-injection facility allows me to customise the site's CSS just enough.
That's all I really wanted to say for this one, just a short post to celebrate the one-month anniversary of the first article, and looking forward to writing more!
