This blog was launched in June 2025 by Sar, and is the spiritual continuation of a blog he's run since before Y2K in one form or another.

The site is focused on gaming & tech, and just generally nerdy shit.

About Me

I'm Sar, a middle-aged, lifelong gamer who has been gaming since the Atari 2600, became enthralled and never looked back.

The majority of my gaming time is spent in Azeroth, and has been since 2009, but I've played nearly every MMO out there at one point or another, and have a massive back-catalogue in Steam (no different to a lot of you then!).

I work in IT, which will come as no surprise, and enjoy a lot of nerdy shit:

I also have as-yet undiagnosed AuDHD, which is the wombo-combo of Autism and ADHD. And yes, it's tiring and a struggle sometimes fighting two very oppositional forces (routine vs novelty), but I've lived with this my entire life in ignorant bliss until about I was about 45, so, yeah, that's been a journey 😄
